Taylor Auto Air Service and Repair Includes:
Air Conditioning
Have you been sweltering in your vehicle lately? Perhaps your car’s air conditioner isn’t functioning properly.
Belts
Sooner or later, your vehicle’s fan belts will dry out and crack. Taylor Auto Air will thoroughly inspect your car’s belts; replace all worn belts; and adjust the installed belts.
Hoses
Hoses transfer coolant and antifreeze throughout the engine’s cooling system (including the radiator). Sooner or later, your vehicle’s hoses will dry out and crack and need to be replaced.
Radiators
A radiator cools the engine by circulating an engine coolant through the engine block – it then loses the heat to the atmosphere through radiation. When the radiator fails, the excess heat produced by the engine could damage the engine components.

I can hear my A/C compressor coming on, but there’s no cold air.
This problem can have a myriad of causes. Low refrigerant, excessive discharge pressure, failed compressor internally. Temperature blend door not moving, the list can go on and on.
Can I cause damage to my A/C system if I continue to operate it when it’s not blowing cold?
YES you can, it would be best to turn the A/C off.
Why is my A/C not blowing out of the right vent?
Possibly mode doors are inoperative.
How often should my A/C system be recharged?
Typically never. It is a sealed system that should not require service, or periodic topping off. If the refrigerant has leaked out you should have it serviced to locate the leak.
How can I tell if my A/C system is low on refrigerant?
See a qualified professional that has a modern evacuating and recharging machine that accurately measures the refrigerant recovered.
What could cause my A/C compressor to fail?
Loss of refrigerant oil and excessive discharge pressure are the most common causes.
